Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"LOVE this restaurant — the food, the ambiance, and the people. This is why we can never get enough of Firenze; it proves itself true every time. The salad, the bread, the vegetables, and the beautiful people who work here all come together effortlessly. This is classic European, Italian life. Buono."
"A must while in Florence. Everything tasted incredible. The desert was also fabulous but didn’t take any photos. The wine recommendation was top. Excellent service even when the caffè was extremely busy. I recommend making a reservation to ensure you have a spot and a nice one indoors if it’s raining."
"I wish I had more pictures to share! Truly a 10/10 experience. The perfect location, such a nice ambiance. We sat outside and it was so beautiful, the staff knew every person that walked past. The man, who we believe to be the owner, greeted every table and never stopped smiling. Our server was the sweetest woman, she was so funny and helpful. They even went out of their way to assist us with things that were not related to the meal. Cannot recommend enough, will be going on our list of “must visits”!"
"This was our favorite meal in Italy! We shared 3 pastas, and they were sublime. The desserts and spritzes were inventive and amazing. The atmosphere sitting outside was nice and relaxing."
"Hidden little gem away from all the tourists. Quiet little spot to catch your breath and relax for awhile. We sat outside and it was perfect! The chicken cesar salad was truly exceptional (best we’ve EVER had). The pasta perfectly cooked and was also fantastico! We will definitely be back when we visit Florence again"
"We loved this restaurant between the friendly service, the ambience, and how relaxing the atmosphere was inside. My pasta was perfect and my only real disappointment was the 40 day aged beef. Possibly my expectations were too high, but having tried excellent beef in other restaurants and butcher shops I was a bit let down. Every other aspect of our drinks, food, and experience was 5 star excellence. I am happy that we got to experience Cibrèo Caffè."
"Had a lunch here during our trip to Florence and it was so cute. The caffe is very cozy, historic and tons of locals come eat there too we noticed. We got their famous tagliolini Cacio e Burro pasta that made it to the top NY times best pasta dishes and Cavati all’Elbana (tuna pasta) and both were delicious! The tagliolini pasta texture was amazing and perfectly cooked. The pasta sauce is VERY decadent but delicious nonetheless. The star for us was surprisingly the Cavati all’Elbana - so fresh and tasty. Service was amazing, they have high chairs but it is very tight at this location. They gave our toddler a book and loved him! Highly recommend this place, especially for lunch or even a quick pastry!"
"My brother insisted this was the must-visit restaurant during my 3 days in Florence — and he was absolutely right. I’ve traveled to Italy several times, but this was by far the best pasta I’ve ever had. It was so good that I came back again just before flying out. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and Frederica, Alfonso, and Julio welcomed me with a smile each time, making the experience even more memorable."
